At OutsourcingSEM, we aim to provide reliable digital marketing, website development, and outsourcing services. This Refund Policy explains the general terms applicable to payments, cancellations, and refund requests for our services. By confirming a project or making a payment, you acknowledge that these terms may apply alongside the specific terms agreed upon in your proposal, quotation, or service agreement.

1. Service Payments

Payments may be collected as an advance, milestone payment, recurring service fee, or final payment, depending on the scope of work and the agreed payment schedule.

  • Payment terms will be communicated in the quotation, invoice, or service agreement.
  • Work may begin after the agreed advance or initial payment has been received.
  • Third-party costs, subscriptions, advertising budgets, hosting charges, domain fees, and other approved expenses may be billed separately.
  • Clients are responsible for reviewing the agreed scope, deliverables, and payment terms before making a payment.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service, the stage of work, the payments already made, and the terms agreed with the client. A refund may be considered in circumstances such as:

  • A duplicate payment or an identifiable payment-processing error.
  • A payment received for a service that has not started and cannot be provided as agreed.
  • An eligible refund expressly provided for in a written proposal or service agreement.
  • Other circumstances where a refund is required under applicable law.

Each request will be reviewed individually. Submission of a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.

3. Non-Refundable Work and Expenses

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, payments for completed work, resources already purchased, and services already delivered may not be refundable.

  • Completed or approved project milestones.
  • Work already performed, including research, planning, design, development, campaign setup, or other agreed deliverables.
  • Third-party purchases or fees that cannot be recovered, including domain registration, hosting, software licences, and external service charges.
  • Advertising spend already used on advertising platforms.
  • Recurring service periods that have already been delivered, subject to the applicable agreement and law.

4. Project Cancellation

Clients who wish to cancel a project or service should submit a written request by email. Cancellation terms may depend on the project's current stage and the conditions in the applicable agreement.

  • Any completed work or approved milestones may remain payable.
  • Work in progress and committed third-party expenses may be considered when calculating any eligible refund.
  • Future work may be paused after a cancellation request is received and reviewed.
  • Any refundable balance will be assessed against payments received, work completed, and the agreed terms.

5. Digital Marketing and Advertising Services

Digital marketing outcomes can depend on several factors, including competition, market conditions, platform policies, website performance, and client-provided information. Therefore, specific rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, or revenue cannot be guaranteed unless explicitly stated in a written agreement.

  • Fees for marketing work already performed are generally not refundable, subject to the agreement and applicable law.
  • Advertising budgets paid to third-party platforms are subject to those platforms' terms and refund processes.
  • Unused advertising funds held by a platform are not necessarily funds held by OutsourcingSEM.
  • Any service-specific refund or performance commitment must be assessed according to its written terms.

6. Website Development and Outsourcing Projects

For website development and outsourcing projects, refund decisions may consider the agreed scope, work completed, milestone approvals, delivered files, and project-specific terms.

  • Clients should review designs, functionality, and milestone deliverables within the agreed review period.
  • Approved deliverables and completed milestones may not qualify for a refund.
  • Additional requirements outside the agreed scope may require a separate quotation.
  • Any dispute about deliverables should be reported promptly so that the parties can review the issue.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us using the email address or phone number provided below. Please include the following details so we can review your request efficiently:

  • Your full name and company name, if applicable.
  • The invoice number, transaction reference, or payment date.
  • The service or project associated with the payment.
  • The reason for the refund request and any relevant supporting documents.

We may contact you for additional information before reaching a decision. Please do not send passwords, full card details, or other unnecessary sensitive payment information by email.

8. Refund Review and Processing

We will review the request and communicate our decision within a reasonable period. If a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method where possible, or by another mutually agreed method.

The time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, bank, and payment method. Any applicable processing fees or deductions will be handled according to the agreed terms and applicable law.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a payment, please contact us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve it. This does not limit any rights you may have to raise a dispute with your bank, payment provider, or relevant authority.

10. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy when our services or business requirements change. Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. The terms applicable to an existing project may also depend on the written agreement made for that project and applicable law.
